We had Project Construction build on a room addition a couple of years ago.  The room is everything that we dreamed it would be.  Our home sits on a canal at Buckeye Lake and gets quite a few looks from boaters.  It’s amazing the number of people that come by and think the room was always there, part of the original build.  IT LOOKS THAT GOOD!

Do I need permits for a home renovation or addition?

Usually, yes for additions, structural changes, new windows/doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or any work that changes egress. We can help confirm permit requirements early and provide permit-ready drawings when needed.

Will I be able to live in my home during construction?

Sometimes. It depends on which rooms are impacted, whether utilities will be interrupted, and whether there is a safe separation between living space and the work zone. We’ll talk through options during planning so you can decide what is realistic for your household.

How long does a typical residential renovation or addition take?

Timelines vary by scope, lead times, and inspection schedules. As a rough rule: design + permitting often takes weeks, and construction can range from a few weeks (small remodel) to a few months (larger addition). We set a schedule after scope is defined and major selections are understood.
